After
some drying off we went to visit the Shear Yashuv memorial, honouring the
settlements that once thrived there prior to the war of independence in 1948.
In the afternoon we went Kayaking in Hagoshrim, which was plain sailing for most
of us! Rowing in sync proved challenging and got us tangled in some
bushes!
We
then had the interesting experience of heading to a shelter as precaution as a
result of a siren in the area. We followed all the protocols and procedures and were thankful it turned out not to be serious.
"The atmosphere in the room, between people we hadn't even seen once, was something
that can't simply be forgotten. Beautiful Country" James Gordon
