We then headed to the Kinneret cemetery
where we heard the story of the chalutzim (The early Zionist pioneers who helped cultivate the land.) Buried here are
many members from the surrounding kibbutzim and
moshavim, several ideologues and leaders of the Labour Movement, and Naomi
Shemer - the "first lady of Israeli song and
poetry", most famous for her song "Yerushlayim Shel Zahav".

Our next stop was banana boating in the Kinneret.
This required a lot of skill to stay on the boat, but eventually falling in also proved a lot of fun!
We went back to Lavi for our last night
there where we had dinner and our night activities that included a summary of
the day and a movie.
